Due to the latest government advice on Covid-19, we are temporarily closing our shops (South Shields, Low Fell and Hebburn) from 4.30pm on Thursday 5th November 2020.

These closures are in line with the government’s national lockdown guidelines. Due to our limited storage, we are unable to accept any further donations during this time.

Our Lucie’s Pantry food bank (The Old Post Office, 430 Dean Road, South Shields, NE33 5LL) will remain open for members during the upcoming period of lockdown.

We will endeavour to complete all existing deliveries but unfortunately we are having to suspend all booked collections until our stores can reopen.

Support us and Shop Online

There are still ways you can support Emmaus North East during the lockdown. Firstly, you can still shop securely with us online via our eBay page, where we will be adding some of our most interesting pieces and furniture items over the next 4 weeks.

We’d also love you to check out our Etsy page where we are selling a beautiful collection of star decorations that have been handmade by companions in our South Shields workshop.

You can also make a cash donation to help sustain our community during this uncertain time.

Stay in Touch

Our South Shields community the home of our companions, so it will continue to be full of life during this new period of lockdown. We will continue to post news and updates via our social channels, so please do like our Facebook page, follow us on Twitter and follow us on Instagram.

Thank you for supporting Emmaus North East. We hope to welcome you back to our stores again soon.

Stay safe.
