Emmaus communities provide a home and meaningful work for people who have experienced homelessness, helping them to find a way to move on with their lives.
From house clearances to getting involved with the wider community, we offer a wide range of services.
There are many ways you can support us, from volunteering to donating goods. Your support means that we get to carry on doing what we do best - helping those who need it most.
Emmaus North East has received a donation of face masks to keep our venues Covid-secure
Emmaus North East has received a donation of face masks to keep staff, companions and customers safe.
We’re thrilled to have received a very kind donation of 100 face masks from Nad Lab UK and Masqonn. The companies have donated 80 reusable cotton masks and 20 KN95 masks that will be used by our 24 community members, including companions and staff. The KN95 mask filters out a minimum of 95% of particles, so are ideal for our use in our charity shops and the reusable cotton masks are brilliant for everyday wear.
The masks will be a vital piece of equipment to enable us to keep everyone safe.
Our shops will reopen at 9am on Monday 12th April. Our collections and delivery services and donation drop-offs will also recommence on 12th April. For all drop-off donations, please ensure items are in a good sellable condition. To book a furniture collection please call us on 0191 497 5302 . We look forward to welcoming you back.
