We’re thrilled to announce that Emmaus North East’s commitment to reducing our carbon footprint has not only been recognised but also rewarded.

Our sustainability journey began with team workshops led by Katrina Appleyard, a local sustainability expert, guiding us toward meaningful environmental change. These efforts culminated in our being awarded the Investors in the Environment (iiE) Bronze certification—a proud milestone in our commitment to a greener future.

Now, we’re excited to share that we have been shortlisted for an iiE National Award! On November 21st, our team will join other passionate environmental leaders in Peterborough for the awards ceremony, celebrating the positive impact of organisations across the UK.
