We are thrilled to share the exciting news that our organisation has been nominated for the Love South Tyneside recognition scheme, in recognition for the hard work and dedication of our team.

The #LoveSouthTyneside recognition scheme celebrates the remarkable contributions of unsung heroes across South Tyneside. Emmaus North East is proud to be acknowledged for our efforts in improving the lives of people who have experienced homeless and for supporting the wider community with our initiatives like Lucie’s Laundry and more. This nomination is a reflection of the commitment and passion of our team, volunteers and companions.

Not only have we as a charity been nominated but our very own chief executive Ruth Parker has also been nominated!

We have been invited to the Love South Tyneside Awards Ceremony, a special event to celebrate the nominees and reveal the winners. The ceremony will take place at the Customs House on Thursday, July 11, 2024 and we are very excited!
