Emmaus communities provide a home and meaningful work for people who have experienced homelessness, helping them to find a way to move on with their lives.
From house clearances to getting involved with the wider community, we offer a wide range of services.
Emmaus North East has a smart new look for its shop in Low Fell, Gateshead.
It now features an eye-catching sign that uses the Emmaus UK colours and graphics.
“The new sign looks fantastic and really makes us stand out,” said Emmaus North East Chair Sue Wilson. “Our previous look and the”Follow Me” brand had served us very well, but the new look identifies us much more clearly as part of the national Emmaus family.”
Shop Manager Debbie Monkhouse added: “Our customers really like the change. Popele will now know for sure who we are and what we stand for. Onwards and upwards!”
We have now reopened our South Shields and Hebburn shops. We will be operating reduced hours 10:00 – 15:30 Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday and Saturday until further notice. Lucie’s Pantry will remain open to members.
Our priority continues to be the wellbeing of our companions, staff, volunteers and local community and we have introduced new measures to ensure that everyone stays safe.
We are really grateful for your support during this uncertain time and we will keep you updated.
