On Friday 22 May, Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney is raising money for Emmaus projects around the world
On Friday 22 May, staff, companions, trustees and volunteers from Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney will Frock Up to raise money for Emmaus International’s emergency appeal to support at-risk Emmaus groups around the world.
One of the most important parts of the Emmaus ethos is solidarity. This means working to help someone less fortunate than yourself and we strive to give back to the local community we live in, as well as support fellow Emmaus groups across the world.
We will be digging out our sequins, ball gowns, suits or most ‘out there’ outfits for the day to raise money while having a bit of fun too. We have invited all Emmaus communities across the UK to get involved – either from their own homes or within a community.
Supporters, customers and friends of Emmaus are more than welcome to get involved in Frock Up Friday too, whether they donate or not. This day is as much about doing something together as it is fundraising.
Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney is collecting donations to send to Emmaus International. If you would like to donate, please visit here.
