Why donate to Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney?

Why donate to Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney?

By donating your preloved and second-hand items to Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney, you have a direct impact on people working hard to rebuild their lives following homelessness.

All donations are sold in either our Ditchingham or Norwich shop to raise the revenue needed to fund our charity, and some go on to be rehomed through the Norfolk Assistance Scheme.

Some of the items are upcycled by our companions and turned into something new.

We depend on your continued support and kind donations to keep us going and we always do our utmost to sell, recycle or re-use to grow an income from everything you give us.

What items can I donate?

What items can I donate?

We accept donations of good quality furniture, clothing, bric-a-brac and homewares, provided they are in a sellable condition.

However, there are some items that we cannot currently accept. Click here for the full list of items not currently accepted.

As our stock levels go up and down, there may be times we have to turn away donations we would at other times accept. Please check the list here or with our companions in our donations cabin at the time of donation for the most up to date list.
