Our companions all live and work alongside each other in our community so it’s important that they all share some downtime as a community too.

A few weeks ago we did just that and all came together to enjoy a community fun day in the sunshine, involving a game of rounders and a visit from a hotdog stall.

The absolutely delicious hotdogs were very kindly provided free of charge by The Flying Chef, a local business that wanted to give something back to the local community.

“We have been in business locally since 1992, and have been well supported by the community and we love the Waveney Valley, so it’s our chance to give a bit back.”

Our companions take competition very seriously so we were very lucky to be joined by Libby Colbridge and Conor Nicole from Sentinel Leisure Trust who umpired for us and ensured everyone played fair.

We all had a fantastic time together, and we’d like to thank Libby, Conor and the team from The Flying Chef for helping to make the afternoon enjoyable for all.
