You’re invited to the Emmaus Spring Fayre on Saturday 22 March to shop, give your support and have some fun with your family and friends.
Join us for our annual spring-themed clearance sale and charity event. Explore all areas of our Secondhand Superstore and enjoy live music, fun activities and tasty food throughout the day.
In readiness for this event, we’ll be emptying our storage rooms and putting everything out on ‘brocante’ style tables, in rummage trunks and in fresh displays. From affordable homeware and interior décor items, to clothes, books and vinyl records – there will be a wide variety of items on offer and plenty of bargains to be found.
It wouldn’t be a good ol’ community fayre without some enjoyable activities and merriment. We’ll have entertainment for all ages, including spring-themed kid’s crafts, a charity tombola and ‘bat the rat’ competition! To keep you fuelled, delicious food and drinks will be available inside and out, with street-food specials and your usual Emmaus favourites.
For those interested in learning more about Emmaus Mossley, we’ll be providing small group tours of our community home so you can see behind the scenes. You’ll also have a chance to visit Mossley Heritage Centre, packed with artefacts, archives and memorabilia of our town’s incredible heritage.
All funds raised at this event will go to sustain our charity and the support Emmaus Mossley provides to people who have experienced homelessness. Our community is home for up to 26 people at any given time, with each person supported to build their confidence, self-esteem, skills and work experience to achieve their goals.
Join us for some spring-time fun and charity shopping, all for a good cause. The Emmaus Spring Fayre will take place on Saturday 22 March, 10am-4pm, at the Emmaus Mossley Secondhand Superstore, Longlands Mill, Queen Street, Mossley OL5 9AH.
