The Emmaus Merseyside Charity Superstore has now reopened following the COVID-19 shutdown. For the latest update please visit our News section

At the largest Emmaus Merseyside charity shop you will find a great selection of furniture, electrical items, homewares, clothes, vinyl, books and bric-a-brac.

The range of furniture on offer includes tables, chairs, sofas, beds, wardrobes, sideboards and cabinets as well as vintage, retro and antique furniture. We have our own on-site workshop where donated furniture is refurbished, repaired and upcycled. Our aim is to bring good quality items back into use and help to divert household waste from landfill.

In addition to furniture, the Emmaus Merseyside Charity Superstore stocks household electrical items such as washing machines, fridge freezers, TVs, hi-fi systems and lamps. We also have a large selection of bargain books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl, bric-a-brac, household items and kitchen equipment.

For lovers of charity shop fashion our superstore has a wide selection of clothing including designer labels, retro clothes, affordable women’s, men’s and kid’s clothes, accessories and vintage wares.

Our Emmaus Merseyside Charity Superstore has a customer car-park and is wheelchair accessible. We offer a delivery service on large items purchased from our store.

All of the funds raised through the sale of items at our Charity Superstore support the formerly homeless people who reside at our Emmaus Merseyside community home. If you have good quality items that you would like to donate to Emmaus Merseyside please visit our Donate Goods page.

COVID-19 safety measures

To ensure the safety of our team and all visitors, we have carried out a risk assessment for reopening and put in place measures to minimise the risk of virus transmission.

To ensure that physical distancing rules are maintained, our team will be monitoring the number of people within the store. We are limiting the amount of people in store at any one time so you may be required to queue prior to entry. We ask that all visitors wear a face covering and sanitise their hands on entry at our sanitiser stations.

Please follow the directional arrows around the store and ensure that you maintain at least a 2 metre distance from others at all times. If you are visiting as a family, please stick together closely and ensure that children stay with adults at all times.

When purchasing items, please pay by card and use contactless payments where possible. Delivery service will be available for larger purchases but some new controls now apply.
