We’re looking to recruit a new Online Sales Executive to support the Emmaus Merseyside charity and social enterprise. The role will be focussed on creating and maintaining an efficient and profitable online sales operation with responsibility for:

  • Day to day running of Emmaus Merseyside E-Commerce
  • Identifying, pricing and tracking suitable stock
  • Prepare goods for sale online
  • Respond to customer queries
  • Responsible for timely postage and packaging of sold goods to customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring Emmaus policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

Emmaus Merseyside is an award-winning charity that provides a home, as well as education, training and work to people who have experienced homelessness. Everyone living in our Emmaus community works in our social enterprise. All of the money generated from our social enterprises is re-invested to support formerly homeless people living at our community building and help others out of homelessness.

SKILLS NEEDED

  • A real desire to make money and drive sales online
  • A love of selling online
  • A belief in the potential of each individual and an understanding of the importance of community in helping an individual to achieve their potential
  • Effective team player, with the ability to lead, work and delegate
  • Ability and willingness to work with and alongside companions, staff and volunteers

WORKING HOURS

Fixed days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – Fixed hours: 09:00 – 16:00

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT

Full training will be provided on how to sell online using various platforms. You will also have the opportunity to mould parts of the role to how you want it to run, empowering you to make key business making decisions.
