We are very pleased to welcome Martin Russell Hughes as our new Chair of Trustees.
Our trustees play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to support and steer the direction of our charity.
Martin will be working to ensure the continued development of our charity, helping us to maintain and grow the support we provide to those who need it.
Martin brings over 40 years of international business experience, primarily focused on developing the performance of people and organisations across a variety of commercial industries. Alongside his role with us, he is an advisor to the Cancer Support Engagement Group at the Derby and Burton Hospital Trust.
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Chartered Management Institute, Martin also holds a seat on the Harvard Business Review advisory council. His wealth of experience and leadership will be invaluable as we look to the future.
Dawn Wright, our Director, said: “Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland is delighted to have Martin join us. Everyone is looking forward to working with him and excited for the future of our organisation.”
We would like to thank Martin for taking on this important role and look forward to working together to strengthen and grow our charity.
