We’d like to say a big thank you to the lovely people at Hinckley & Rugby Building Society (HRBS).
HRBS has kindly supported Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland since 2019, raising vital funds for our Hinckley-based homelessness charity.
We recently visited their head office to receive a cheque for over £700 following a fundraising raffle organised by HRBS staff.
Hinckley & Rugby Building Society’s Michelle Tong, who helped to organise the raffle, explained:
“We got to know Emmaus a few years ago when we took part in a sleep out to raise money and awareness for the charity. They really do provide life changing support to those that join their community. So, when we had the opportunity to do some more fundraising for them, we jumped at the chance. A special thank you to all the local businesses who donated some fantastic prizes for our raffle – they were so generous, and it definitely helped us sell more tickets!”
