Our van is the lifeblood of our Hinckley-based homelessness charity, but after more than 10 years it’s spending more time in the garage than on the road. Every donation helps us keep changing lives in Hinckley and beyond.
We’re looking for a creative and reliable volunteer to help us showcase the fantastic stock in our Hinckley charity shop by creating short videos for social media.
If you’re confident filming and editing Reels for Instagram and Facebook, and want to support a local homelessness charity, we’d love to hear from you.
As our Social Media Volunteer, you’ll visit our Emporium charity shop in Hinckley once a week to film clips of what we’ve got on sale. Our shop specialises in preloved furniture and homeware, and also has a popular clothing department, plus books, music, crafting supplies and more.
You’ll edit these clips into short upright videos and post them to our Instagram and Facebook pages once or twice a week.
Location: Emmaus Emporium, Stockwell Head, Hinckley, LE10 1RG
Hours: Flexible – our shop is open Monday to Saturday, 9am – 5pm
This role is subject to a DBS check. You must have valid ID and the right to volunteer in the UK. If you’re unsure whether you meet these requirements, please check before applying.
