Our van is the lifeblood of our Hinckley-based homelessness charity, but after more than 10 years it’s spending more time in the garage than on the road. Every donation helps us support people to move on and rebuild their lives.
Need to get rid of furniture without the hassle?
We offer a free, convenient furniture collection service from homes and businesses in Oakham, Rutland, Stamford and Melton Mowbray. Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland will collect your unwanted items directly from you, saving you time and effort while supporting a local cause.
You can book a collection online or call us on 01455 637587 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday) to arrange a suitable time.
We provide a reliable, no-cost collection service across these areas, making it simple to clear space in your home or business. Our team will arrange a convenient collection slot and handle the heavy lifting for you.
We’re able to collect clean, good-quality, re-sellable items, including sofas, wardrobes, dining sets, tables, chairs, beds, chests of drawers, dressers, fridges and freezers.
For safety and resale reasons, we’re unable to accept upholstered items without a valid fire label, washing machines, dishwashers, cookers, or anything not in a saleable condition. You can view the full list of items we can’t accept here.
Your items will be given a second life in our Hinckley charity shop, helping to raise funds for Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland and support people working to overcome homelessness.
