Join in the Leicester 10K, on Sunday 2 March 2025, and help give more people a fresh start after homelessness.
Why run for Emmaus?
Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland is a local charity dedicated to helping those who have faced homelessness to turn their lives around. We offer safe accommodation, support and work opportunities, so people can rebuild their lives.
Why the Leicester 10K is so awesome…
- A stunning route in the heart of the Midlands, the Leicester 10K is one of the region’s biggest and best-loved charity road runs.
- Participants of all abilities and ages are invited to take part, whether that be as part of fundraising efforts or for their own goal or reason.
- With a city centre start and finish, runners set off from Jubilee Square before heading into the city centre and into the beautiful greenery of Victoria Park.
- The scenic landscape of the park will then weave runners through the University of Leicester before passing many of the city’s landmarks including the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and Leicester Cathedral. Participants will then head back towards the city centre for the electric finish line on Jubilee Square.
How to claim your free place…
- Register online to claim your free entry (we’ll pay for your place). Spaces are limited, so act fast!
- Fundraise for Emmaus: Spread the word and get friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor you. You could even organise a fundraiser, like a bake sale, to reach your target. You can set up a JustGiving page to collect donations directly for our charity. With months until race day, there’s plenty of time to reach your minimum target of £??? per runner.
