Emmaus Leicestershire and Rutland is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a new role to the organisation and the successful candidate will play a major role in developing and delivering our charity’s business development and income generation strategy.

Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland is a non-religious organisation offering people who have experienced or been at risk of homelessness (known as companions) an opportunity to work with us to rebuild their lives.

Unlike many homelessness charities, we don’t just offer companions a bed for the night. Instead we offer a home for as long as someone needs it, as well as meaningful work in a social enterprise. This combination of a stable home and having something to do every day helps to restore lost self-esteem and gives companions the time and space to be able to deal with any problems they may have experienced in the past.

  • Salary – £28,000 to £30,000 per annum
  • Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week
  • Annual Leave – 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
