A huge thank you to Nova Orchestra Classica for an incredible evening of classical music at St Mary’s Church in Hinckley, last weekend.
We’re delighted to share that the fundraising concert was a great success, raising an amazing £400 – more than last year’s total!
The audience enjoyed a spectacular programme featuring classical favourites, including Schubert’s Symphony No. 8, Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto with soloist Paul Jones, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. The evening was a celebration of talent, generosity, and community spirit.
Our trustees, who attended the concert, shared their appreciation: “Thank you to Nova Orchestra for an evening of wonderful music and their very kind donation of £400 raised at the concert for Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland. It was a brilliant evening, and we were so impressed with the quality of the concert. The orchestra were truly impressive, and the church venue was very welcoming. We are immensely proud of this partnership and hope it continues for many years to come.”
All funds raised from this event will help us continue providing a home, support, training, and work opportunities for up to 16 people who are rebuilding their lives after homelessness.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event – we look forward to many more memorable concerts in the future!
