Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland’s eBay store is back, offering a fantastic way to shop second-hand without leaving the house.
Each week, we hand-pick a selection from our donated items to add to our eBay shop, so there’s new stock being added all the time. From clothing and jewellery to collectables, books, toys, and furniture — there’s something to suit everyone’s tastes.

Companion Andy, who is running our relaunched eBay store, will be playing a key role in getting Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland’s online sales up and running. He already has experience selling on platforms like eBay and Vinted and is keen to put that knowledge to use.
At first, Andy plans to run things himself to get the system working smoothly, but in the future, volunteers might get involved. “I’ll spend the first couple of months figuring out what sells and setting up a system before maybe bringing others in to help.”
His role also includes managing logistics, such as deliveries and collections: “It’s going to be busy, but I’m up for the challenge.”
Emmaus has given Andy the confidence to take on something new: “They just encourage you — they sat me down and asked, ‘Do you want to do this?’ And I said yes. It’s nice to have something to focus on and build.”
Now that eBay is up and running, Andy hopes it will make a real impact. “It’s about raising money to help people like me, and I’m proud to be part of it.”
