Our van is the lifeblood of our Hinckley-based homelessness charity, but after more than 10 years it’s spending more time in the garage than on the road. Every donation helps us keep changing lives in Hinckley and beyond.
We’re very grateful to the team at Wolvey Village Hall for inviting us along to their recent community coffee morning, where local residents raised £178 in support of our work.
Our staff member Alex and volunteer Nat attended the event to run a small information stall and speak with guests about the support we offer to people affected by homelessness.
Alongside the generous donations, we were also treated to some brilliant homemade cakes and warm hospitality from the volunteers behind the scenes – known locally as the Coffee Crew.
A huge thank you to everyone who made us feel welcome on the day. Your support will help us continue providing accommodation, work opportunities and support to people rebuilding their lives after homelessness.
