Van Appeal: Help us buy a new charity van

Our van is the lifeblood of our Hinckley-based homelessness charity, but after more than 10 years it’s spending more time in the garage than on the road. Every donation helps us keep changing lives in Hinckley and beyond.

Our popular Christmas Shop is back for another year! You’ll find it inside the Emmaus Emporium on Stockwell Head, Hinckley, filled with preloved festive treasures to get you in the Christmas spirit.

This year’s festive space is larger than ever before, with even more stock on offer. Our shop-within-a-shop features a huge selection of second hand Christmas items, including trees, decorations, homeware, wreaths, festive clothing and gift ideas. Every purchase helps to fund our work supporting people who have experienced homelessness.

When we started unpacking the Christmas stock this year, we were overwhelmed by how much we had! Our supporters have been incredibly generous, and it’s turned into a real treasure trove of festive finds – we’ve got Christmas trees, baubles, tinsel, ornaments, wall decorations, garlands, Christmas jumpers and so much more.

It really is a magical space, tucked away towards the back of the Emporium. We’ve tried to make the signage as clear as possible, so follow the signs – or even the sound of the Christmas music – to find our secret festive room!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the volunteers from Coventry Building Society’s Risk Management Team, who once again supported us by helping to unpack boxes of donated Christmas stock, decorate trees and arrange displays ready for opening day.

Our Christmas Shop is open Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm, until 23 December.
