Social enterprise is central to the Emmaus model as it provides personal development opportunities for the people we support but also generates the funding that maintains our community.
Our social enterprise is based around our large Secondhand Superstore in Leeds city centre. The Emmaus Leeds social enterprise collects and sells a wide range of secondhand furniture, white-goods, electrical appliances, clothing, books, vinyl, antiques, bric-a-brac and other household goods.
We can collect larger furniture items for free and also offer a house clearance service. Our charity store is easily accessible, stock changes each week and we offer a delivery service across the region. Here at Emmaus Leeds, we offer a great range of items to people looking for a bargain or something unique, and who want to support a worthy cause.
Along with our physical charity shop, we also have online eBay, Depop and Discogs charity stores. Our charity stores generate most of the income we need to sustain the Emmaus Leeds charity and community. Support our work today by donating items and shopping at our Secondhand Superstore to help people move on from homelessness for good.
