Our Secondhand Superstore on St Mary’s St and our stall in Kirkgate Market will be temporarily closing from 4.45pm on Thursday 5th November 2020. Our shops will reopen at 9am on 2nd December, unless the 4 week lockdown is extended. These closures are in line with the government’s national lockdown guidelines. Here’s everything you need to know and how you can continue to support us.
We will endeavour to complete all existing deliveries but unfortunately we are having to suspend all booked collections until our stores can reopen. If you would like to make a new donation during the period of lockdown, you can still complete our Book a Collection form. However, we will not be able arrange a collection slot until we are allowed to reopen. Please only complete the form if you are willing to keep hold of your items until this time.
There are still ways you can support Emmaus Leeds during the lockdown. Firstly, you can still shop securely with us online via our eBay page, where we will be adding some of our most interesting pieces and furniture items over the next 4 weeks. We will continue to offer delivery throughout lockdown for a cost of £10.
You can also make a cash donation to help sustain our community during this uncertain time.
St Mary’s St is also the home of our companions, so it will continue to be full of life during this new period of lockdown. We will continue to post news and updates via our social channels, so please do like our Facebook page, follow us on Twitter and follow us on Instagram.
Thank you for supporting Emmaus Leeds and we hope to welcome you back to our stores again soon.
