By volunteering in the booking office, you will take calls from people who wish to donate furniture, check they are suitable and arrange a time and date for collection. You will also arrange deliveries for the sales team.
We’re looking for dedicated volunteers (individuals, friends or even couples) to help select suitable items from our donated stock, take photographs of the items and then list them on our Depop shop.
We are looking for a qualified person to PAT and function test the donated electrical items prior to selling them.
In this role you will liaise with the Retail Supervisor, ensuring all items for sale are clean, correctly priced and displayed to their best advantage. You will also greet customers and offer them assistance to enhance their shopping experience.
Emmaus Leeds has a busy sorting room where bric-a-brac, clothes and media are sorted, priced and displayed for sale in the shop. Volunteers work alongside companions in this area, which is fast paced and involves standing and some light lifting.
