Are you a Lambeth resident looking to offer your spare time to volunteer for a local homelessness charity?

Have you been unemployed for some time and find that you struggle with being on your own, with often nothing to do during the day?

Maybe you are looking for ways to bring some structure and routine into your life whilst you continue to look for full or part time employment?

No time to volunteer? Think again! A small amount of time makes the biggest of differences to us. You could be sorting donations, serving customers or on one of our vans delivering and collecting household goods. You’re going to be meeting new people while helping to end homelessness.

What you’ll get out of volunteering:

• Become part of a community, you’ll make lots of new friends!
• Full training and induction: we’ll always make sure you’re fully equipped for the tasks you’re involved in and feel comfortable doing them.
• See the difference you and your team make towards Emmaus UK
• Strengthen your skills in: Fashion, Customer Service and Retail

For more information about volunteering at Emmaus Lambeth please contact Graham at beattie.graham@btconnect.com or visit our do-it.org page https://do-it.org/organisations/emmaus

We happily accept any expressions of interest from both the general public and those living in supported housing, in the London Borough of Lambeth and wider areas of London.

What people say

I love what I do. It is a pleasure to work alongside people who have vision and hope. I hope I speak for all the volunteers by saying that we simply try to make things better.
