Emmaus Hull & East Riding provides a free house clearance service to individuals, businesses and organisations across Hull and the East Riding. By choosing a house clearance with Emmaus, you are directly supporting a local homelessness charity.
Our team provides a free ‘cherry-pick’ service that is fast and friendly, and carried out in a courteous manner. You can rely on our team to undertake your clearance efficiently, sensitively and with respect for the property and the items being cleared. In addition to house clearances, Emmaus can also collect usable items from a garage clearance or office clearance. We have in place public and employer liability insurance for all of the work we undertake.
At this stage, Emmaus Hull & East Riding is unable to provide a full house clearance service as we do not have the capacity and resources to deal with waste and items that cannot be reused and resold within our charity shops. Our free ‘cherry-pick’ service enables our team to assess and collect as many usable and saleable items as possible, helping to save them from the waste-chain and raising vital funds to support our charity.

Our local house clearance service supports the Emmaus Hull & East Riding charity. This means that all the revenue we generate from the items cleared from your property is used to support people who have experienced homelessness. At our residential community in Hull, we provide a home and tailored support for up to 30 people at any one time.
