Emmaus Hull & East Riding is proud to mark a major milestone, 10 years of supporting people rebuilding their lives after homelessness.

As part of this special anniversary, we’re launching a fundraising appeal – 10K for 10 Years – to help us continue our vital work. The goal is simple but powerful; raise £10,000 to celebrate a decade of providing stability, purpose and second chances for people across Hull and the East Riding.

A decade of impact

Since opening in 2015, Emmaus Hull & East Riding has grown into a successful local charity offering longer-term accommodation and wraparound support to people who experience homelessness.

Over the past 10 years, we have supported hundreds of individuals to regain confidence and self-esteem, rebuild relationships, and move forward independently.

Over the past decade, hawse have continued expanding to meet increasing need, strengthening our community-focused approach and developing new ways to support people facing homelessness.

Celebrating 10 years with a call to action

To honour this milestone, Emmaus Hull & East Riding is calling on our supporters, local businesses, community groups and partners to help reach the £10,000 fundraising target before the official anniversary month in February.

Every penny raised will contribute directly to accommodation, work experience opportunities, and personalised support for people looking to build a brighter future.

Chief Executive Stephanie Dixon said:

“Reaching our 10-year anniversary is a moment of real pride. Over the last decade, we’ve seen lives transformed through community, purpose and opportunity. Our ‘10K for 10 Years’ campaign is not just a celebration, it’s a call to action.

Every pound raised will help us continue delivering vital support for people across Hull and the East Riding who need it most.”
