The wait is over. We are thrilled to announce that our Furniture Superstore is now open. This massive store, at 32 Lockwood Street in Hull, is full of a large range of quality second-hand furniture and household goods.
Our new opening hours are: Monday to Saturday 10am – 3pm
These reduced hours will allow us time to implement a rigorous daily cleaning regime at the end of each day.
Keeping everyone safe whilst shopping
Please avoid visiting our store if you or members of your household have been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
We have completed a COVID-19 secure Risk Assessment. In order to give everyone a pleasant, safe experience in our Furniture Superstore, we now have new one-way systems in place to aid social distancing, and will be limiting numbers of customers at any one time. We’d be grateful if customers avoided visiting in large groups.
Alongside new cleaning measures in place, we’ve installed perspex screens at our tills, and we’re asking customers to pay using contactless if at all possible. Whilst browsing, we’ll be asking customers to please avoid touching items they don’t plan to purchase.
Front-of-property Delivery Service
Our usual home delivery service (for an additional fee) will continue to be available if you purchase a larger item. We won’t enter your home but instead will deliver to the front of your property.
Donating items for resale
We’ll be keeping every donated item in quarantine for 48 hours before sorting to go on the shop floor.
If you wish to drop off donated items, please visit our new Drop-off area in the car park (you won’t need to enter the store itself).
If an item is too large to fit in your car, we offer a free collection from your home or business. To book an appointment call us on 01482 223722 or complete our online form and we’ll get back to you.
