Our latest charity shop in the Garden Square Shopping Centre, Letchworth Garden City, opened its doors on Saturday 4 May 2024.
The large second-hand store is our fourth charity shop and stocks a range of affordable, pre-loved furniture, homewares, electricals, clothing and accessories, as well as unique upcycled and handmade items from our on-site Emmaus workshop.
The opening comes soon after the closure of our popular Out of the Emmaus Workshop store in St Peters Street, St Albans. This store showcased the incredible restoration and upcycling work produced by the formerly homeless people we support, known to us as companions.
Our Letchworth in-store workshop means these creations will be on our shop floor directly after completion, as well as being distributed to our other shops in Hill End, St Albans (which also has its own workshop), Tring and Hemel Hempstead.
