Earlier this week we were delighted to welcome the new High Sheriff of Hertfordshire to our community.
Lionel C. Wallace was appointed High Sheriff earlier this year and is visiting lots of local organisations to find out more about their work.
Our CEO Duncan gave the High Sheriff a tour of our community and chatted to him about our future plans, including our joint venture with St Albans and District Foodbank, the Hill End Project.
The High Sheriff, Lionel C. Wallace, also spoke to companions about their experience of homelessness and how Emmaus is helping them to rebuild their lives.
We look forward to welcoming the High Sheriff back to our community in a few months when the Hill End Project is completed, when we will be able to give him a tour of our new workshops and the new permanent home for St Albans and District Food Bank.
