Our community
Emmaus Hertfordshire has 41 rooms in total for companions in our St Albans Community.
We provide meals, basic clothing, a television, companionship and a weekly allowance plus holiday and travel allowances. In return, we ask you to volunteer five days a week in our second-hand shops. It is through this work that we earn money to run the community and it also helps you to move on to employment. You will also have to sign off all benefits and live by the community’s rules.
