The Emmaus shop in Hertford will be celebrating the festive season with a fun-filled day of cake, mince pies, and crafts at its second-hand shop at Foxholes Farm.
Visitors to the Emmaus charity shop on Wednesday, December 18, from 10am – 4pm, will be able to browse and purchase homemade crafts and Christmas gifts showcased by local artisans, as well as enjoying free cake, mince pies and refreshments.
A raffle will wrap up the day with prizes including Christmas hampers, a self-catering two night stay at Dalmonds Barns Hertford, vouchers and much more. Raffle tickets are £1.00 per a strip and on sale now in store.
Speaking on the event, Shop Manager at the Emmaus Hertford Jan, said:
“All proceeds from the day will go towards supporting the Emmaus Hertfordshire community, which offers up to 42 people who have experienced homelessness with a home for as long as they need it and the opportunity to gain work experience in our charity shops in Boxmoor, Harpenden, Hertford, St Albans, and Tring. We hope to see lots of our regular shoppers on the day and would love to welcome some new faces to celebrate Christmas with.”
