This half term we are running a pop up toy shop in our store in Bexhill.
We are very grateful to those who have donated children’s toys and books to Emmaus. All sales from your donations go towards housing and support for people who have experienced homelessness.
We’ve taken the opportunity of half term to make a toy and children’s area in our Bexhill shop. We are located just up the road from Bexhill beach, perfect for a day trip!
The shop in Bexhill is staffed by companions, Emmaus residents who live and work at our Hastings community. It’s also ideally located between Bexhill station and the beach. AS well as toys, there are a number of interesting items, including clothes, records and bric-a-brac.
Jim, companion working at Emmaus in Bexhill this week, was pleased to see the pop up toy shop bringing more families into the store: “We’ve had a few families in this morning saying how nice it is to come and see the store.”
