Why use Emmaus Hastings for house clearances?
Emmaus Hastings is a charity that provides a home and work opportunities for people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion. To help fund our community, we collect and sell furniture, clothes and other items and sell them in our shops in St Leonards on Sea and Bexhill.
Our goal is to help people regain confidence and self-esteem they may have lost when they lost their homes and help these people, our companions, move towards living in mainstream society. We also help to protect the environment by reducing unnecessary landfill.
By using our house clearances services, you are helping to maintain our community and helping to protect the environment.
Paid house clearance service
For the full house clearance and disposal service, we will remove everything from a property, excluding gas cookers, fixtures or fittings attached to walls, electrical items that have not been disconnected and carpets . All the saleable items will be sold in our shops and all the other items will be recycled or disposed of.
The price is dependent on the number and weight of items that need to be removed, the amount and type of items that will need to be disposed of and travel distance, parking restrictions and access to the property.
We also offer a view and pick service where we will only take the items we can sell on in our shops leaving you to dispose of the rest as you wish.
