We are feeling so grateful for the unbelievably generous £17,500 donation we have received from the Freemasons.
At Emmaus Hastings & Rother, we help people move on from homelessness by offering them a home with no time limit, plus the chance to work, train and learn new skills for future employment. The latest national lockdown forced us to close our Secondhand Superstore for a fourth time, resulting in a substantial loss of income needed to support our community.
This amazing grant from the Freemasons is helping to cover the cost of food, training, support, household bills and living expenses for the 23 formerly homeless people we support (known as companions).
