From January 3 2023 Emmaus Hastings & Rother will be changing the way we accept donations. Due to a recent increase in the amount of items we are receiving, we ask that supporters book a drop-off slot in advance. We are so grateful to all our supporters for their donations, however as a small charity which is reliant upon the support of amazing staff and volunteers, we do not have the capacity to store and process the amount of donations we are currently receiving every day. From January, we are asking supporters to call and book a slot to drop off items so that we can manage the process and avoid having to totally stop accepting donations when we are over capacity.
From the week commencing January 3rd please call us to book your slot, which will be available from 10 am to 3.45pm each day Tue to Sat. Take a look here for the list of items we can and can’t accept. Call 01424 755111 opt 2 to make a booking.
