Our Eastleigh store is now temporarily closed for an exciting redesign project. The store will reopen on Thursday, 6 February 2026 with a completely new look and layout.
Opened in 2013, the Eastleigh store has long been our largest retail space—twice the size of our boutique—and has raised more than £25,000 to support our community. However, its size has also presented some challenges, particularly in managing our furniture stock and overall customer flow.
To address these and create a more engaging shopping experience, we’re carrying out a full refurbishment and reimagining of the space. Our project manager, Rachel, a professional retailer and interior designer, has led the redesign in collaboration with our team.
The new store layout will feature:
A fresh, welcoming entrance with a relocated cash desk.
The left-hand side dedicated to fashion and accessories.
The right-hand side showcasing music, bric-a-brac, pictures, and paintings.
A central lounge area and improved display zones for furniture.
New flooring, ceiling, lighting, and décor to create a bright, modern shopping atmosphere.
Emmaus Hampshire’s CEO Nigel Samuels said he was confident the transformed store will look “a million dollars” and become a real highlight of Eastleigh High Street. Thank you for your patience and continued support — we can’t wait to welcome you back in February to see the amazing results!
