On Wednesday 6 March, the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Christine May, hosted a charity coffee morning in aid of Emmaus Greenwich and Demelza Hospice.

The coffee morning, which was held Charlton House, invited attendees, including Emmaus Greenwich staff and companions, to enjoy coffee, cake, and a raffle to help raise money for her chosen charities.

The Mayor gave a lovely speech and reminded attendants that the event was raising money for us and Demelza Hospice. We received lots of donations at the end of the event for us to sell in our charity shops and two companions won chocolates in the raffle.
