Help if you’re experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing your home

We currently have rooms available at Emmaus Greenwich.

Emmaus Greenwich offers long-term support to people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. Our purpose-built community in Plumstead, Greenwich, can house and support up to 45 adults at a time.

A fresh start

Becoming homeless can make it feel like your options are limited, but at Emmaus Greenwich, we work alongside people to help them rebuild their lives. We don’t just offer a bed for one night, we offer longer-term stability, purpose, and a chance to move forward.

By living in our community and engaging in our social enterprises, companions (our term for residents) gain valuable experience, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to move on when ready. It’s about more than housing, it’s about creating lasting change.

What we offer

  • A private, furnished room in our residential community
  • Communal areas including kitchen, dining room, and lounge
  • Three meals a day, clothing, toiletries, and basic essentials
  • Meaningful work in our shops, or community home
  • Emotional support, mentoring, and tailored one-to-one guidance
  • Help planning your next steps and working towards personal goals

We place a strong emphasis on inclusion, participation, and dignity. Companions are involved in community life and decision-making, helping create a space where everyone is valued.
