On Thursday 8 November, Emmaus Greenwich received its yearly donation of clothing and linen from the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild.
Throughout the year, individual groups of the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild organise functions to raise money or hold knitting parties and collect items for their chosen charities.
Since 2009, Emmaus Greenwich has been a beneficiary of the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild, and has received a very generous donation of clothing and linen every year since.
People being supported by Emmaus Greenwich visited St James’s Palace to collect the donation, which is a welcome treat every year, particularly close to Christmas.
