Emmaus Greenwich residents, staff and trustees attended a charity fundraiser organised by Sixth Formers at Shooters Hill College on Thursday 22 November.
Every year, students of the hospitality and catering department at Shooters Hill research and then vote for a charity to fundraise for to help them develop their enterprise and employability skills. This year, they voted for Emmaus Greenwich, and hosted a charity dining event with courses designed by four students.
The event, which raised funds to donate to Emmaus Greenwich as well as help students purchase specialist catering equipment, took take place at City View Restaurant Shooters Hill, costing £30 per head, with canapés served from 6:30pm.
Emmaus Greenwich attendees had a brilliant time at the event and were delighted to be chosen as a beneficiary by pupils at Shooters Hill.
