Cheltenham-based business Just Fabrics is holding a huge clearance sale this month and will donate half of the proceeds to Emmaus Gloucestershire.
Taking place on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September, customers can bag huge discounts on fabric roll ends, and remnants, in addition to curtains, blinds and soft furnishings from the family run company while supporting a local charity at the same time.
Half of the proceeds raised during the two-day clearance sale will be donated to us to support our work helping people who have been homeless. We offer a home for as long as needed, meaningful work, funded training and daily support so people can rebuild their lives.
Speaking on why Emmaus Gloucestershire was chosen for the donations, Ross Pieters, Manager Director at Just Fabrics, said: “When choosing a charity to support for the clearance sale, Emmaus was an easy choice. Homelessness is a matter close to my heart, and the hard work and dedication of the charity to not only provide people with a safe home, but also provide meaningful work in a community setting is commendable.
“It is important to me and the whole team at Just Fabrics to support our local community as much as we can, especially during these difficult and unprecedented times. I hope the money raised from the clearance sale will support the fantastic work Emmaus do in and around Gloucestershire.”
Our charity raises the majority of funds needed to support our work by selling second-hand furniture, household goods and clothing in our Cheltenham, Gloucester, Nailsworth and Stroud shops. We faced a 12-week closure due to the coronavirus pandemic and lost vital income but have since reopened all of our shops.

The two-day clearance sale will take place Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September from 9.30am – 5.30pm at the Just Fabrics’ old Cheltenham showroom on Honeybourne Way, next to Waitrose.
