We would like to say a big thank you to Forest Holidays for a very generous furniture donation to help stock our social enterprises and generate funds to support people who have experienced homelessness.
The donation was made up of 6-seater corner sofas, 2-seater sofas and arm chairs. All items will be sold in our social enterprise and will go towards providing a home, support and training to people who have been homeless.
Commenting on why Emmaus Gloucestershire was chosen, Forest Holidays said:
“Forest Holidays like to give something back. Our Golden Oak cabins have enjoyed a bit of a makeover for our guests and we’re proud to be donating a number of sofas and mattresses. They still have a lot left to give and are looking forward to working with Emmaus to help rural communities in Gloucestershire.”
