Emmaus Gloucestershire companions are celebrating this year’s #GlosDay by thanking our support team for all their hard work throughout lockdown.

Taking place on Monday 21 September, Gloucestershire Day is publicly thanking people who have gone above and beyond their normal call of duty in Gloucestershire during the Covid-19 crisis.

To mark the day, here is a message from all our companions to Debbie and Marc on the support team:

“Thank you to Debbie and Marc from the Support Team. Whilst we were all in isolation during lockdown, you sacrificed a lot to ensure that we were all well looked after and had things to do to relieve our stress and boredom. Massive thank you to Debbie whose quick actions ensured that two of the residents received emergency medical care, without you they don’t believe that they would be alive. Thank you both, we really appreciate everything that you have done for us!!!”
