Work is an integral part of community life, and the social enterprise side of any Emmaus community helps to generate the income that will ultimately make each of them self-sustaining, something every community is working towards.

Research conducted by Emmaus UK shows that 79% of people who have lived at Emmaus for a few months say that working and having something to do every day has been most beneficial part of their experience.

Our main social enterprise is our two shops at Ellesmere Street and Partick. We also have a warehouse, carry out house clearances and PAT testing and upcycle or create items from wood in our workshop.
