Do you want to gain experience and develop your social media marketing skills for a local charity? We’re looking for a creative Social Media Volunteer to help Emmaus Glasgow shine online. This exciting role will involve capturing and sharing pictures and video content to showcase our preloved shops in Partick and Hamiltonhill and telling people who we are and what we do.
Key responsibilities include:
- Capture quality images and video at our Partick and Hamiltonhill shops
- Create engaging content for different social media channels
- Reply to inbox messages and comments
- Support local and national campaigns
- Promote public understanding of the work of Emmaus.
Skills required:
- We’re looking for a dedicated individual with experience of different social media platforms
- Good written ability and communication skills
- Interest in photography, video and a keen eye for detail
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Knowledge of marketing and public relations is also desirable.
Time commitment:
We are looking for a volunteer who can commit to at least 4 hours per week. We can be flexible in terms of which day(s) and this role can be done in part remotely.
