Companions, volunteers and staff welcomed people to Emmaus Glasgow at an action-packed Open Day to show off what life is like at our community.

We held fun, games, hot drinks, tea, cake, a raffle, and our car wash for a cause at our community building and charity shop on Ellesmere Street in Hamiltonhill on Thursday 16th June.

People were able to drop in from 12pm to 4pm to join in the fun and chat with staff about referring to Emmaus Glasgow and find out more about the application process.

Director Richard said: “Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and had fun with us: painting faces, winning prizes at the raffle – including a TV and remote R2D2! Also, thanks to all the kids (including the big, older ones) who enjoyed the party games.. thanks to everyone.”

Emmaus Glasgow has rooms available for people looking for help from homelessness. To find out more about joining Emmaus Glasgow please visit Our Community page.
