You’ll be positive, engaging, and proactive in your approach to lead the support, development, and recruitment of volunteers for the charity. Volunteers are a crucial to all areas of our operations from van driving to retail.
Emmaus Glasgow is a charity that gives a home and meaningful work to formerly homeless men and women (we call companions), who live in our community and work in our social enterprise. We collect, refurbish, upcycle, sell and deliver all manner of furniture and household goods.
The Volunteer Co-ordinator role is a full-time role for an initial contract of one year, with a salary of circa £22k per annum. Join us and make a real difference!

Please note that this role will involve working with companions and in the community, so the post-holder will need to have a Disclosure from Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scotland (PVG) check carried out. This is to check criminal records and that the person is not barred from working with ‘adults at risk’.
