We are looking for a part time support worker who can help people with experience of homelessness and/or social exclusion to live and gain work experience at the community. The role will help people develop life skills, realise their potential and move on.

Supported by the CEO, part of this role entails registering Emmaus Glasgow with Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) as a registered learning centre, with the assistance of a consultant agency. Once this has been completed, the successful applicant will help people supported by Emmaus gain qualifications and lead the assessment process to support the charity’s aim – to give people (Emmaus refers to as companions), a place to live, learn and gain valuable qualifications and experience.

If you have great communications skills, experience of training and supporting people with complex needs and a positive “can do” attitude we would love to hear from you. You will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team who are passionate about what they do.

For an informal discussion or questions regarding the role please contact Emmaus Glasgow Chief Executive Officer Richard Allwood at [email protected] or call 0141 353 3903.
