Then why not take on a sponsored freefall parachute jump on our behalf whilst raising invaluable funds to help us to provide support and accommodation for people who have faced homelessness.
What’s the registration fee and how much do I have to raise?
Option A - the skydiver can pay for their jump. The price of a tandem jump varies depending on which airfield you jump from but is from £285 – £350. You can check the price at your local airfield here. Then you look to raise as much sponsorship as you can for Emmaus UK.
Option B - ‘Free’ jump: Participant to pay the initial £70 deposit, (can either be claimed back from sponsorship if participant receives cash sponsorship or Emmaus UK will be invoiced if sponsorship is raised through an online fundraising page).
A minimum sponsorship of £395-£450 (depending on location) would then be needed to cover the cost of the jump, meaning an average of £140 would be received by Emmaus UK (based on the prices already stated).
Example:
Raising £395 for Emmaus UK – this is split into three parts:
- a £70 deposit paid to Skyline,
- around £200 jump cost to your airfield (the jump costs will vary depending on the airfield)
- and the remaining £125 to Emmaus UK.
Please note that some airfields require a higher sponsorship level of £450 and the jump cost/sponsorship cost will vary. You can check the Prices & Locations page for details.
